Would you like to know how colleagues in your field work at a university in Belgium or in Estonia? A partner university offers a staff week with exciting topics related to your daily work? The following activities are eligible

The activity should preferably take place at one of our Erasmus+ partner universities in a programme country. The programme should ensure a quality standard and have to be relevant for your professional and personal development. Mobility at EU institutions and a passive participation in conferences are not eligible for funding.

            • Applicants will be notified after application deadline about the results. This can take up to 2 weeks.

Duration of mobility & Funding

    A staff mobility activity takes at least 2 days (excluding travel). Funding for a training activity is generally limited to 2–5 workdays. Weekend activities (e.g., as part of language courses) as well as conferences are not eligible for funding.

Subsistence costs according to country category:

  • Group 1: €180 per day
    Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden
  • Group 2: €160 per day
    Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain
  • Group 3: €140 per day
    Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Republic of Macedonia, Turkey

The travel allowance is for round trip. Up to 2 additional travel days can be funded when immediately follow the activity (e.g. arrival on Sunday, start of programme on Monday). Please travel with a low-emission means of transport (no airplane!). The Erasmus+ programme supports "green travel" with a higher travel allowance.   • 500-1999km: 309€ (Green Travel: 417€)
  • 2000-2999km: 395€ (Green Travel: 535€)
  • 3000-3999km: 580€ (Green Travel: 785€)
  • 4000-7999km: 1.188€
  • 8000 an more: 1735€

Please note:

Sometimes the grant may not cover all actual costs. Please calculate your expenses in advance and check beforehand, if your institution is willing to cover additional costs. Selected candidates are obliged to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover (health, liability and accident insurance).

  • Certificate of Stay
  • Training Agreement: The template "Training Agreement" will be sent by e-mail depending on a successful application (notification by e-mail).
  • EU-Survey: Shortly after the mobility, the participant receives an e-mail notification by the EU Beneficiary Module to submit an EU Survey (mandatory online report)
