Dates of Disputation

PhD students

The oral examination usually takes the form of a disputation. The examination is open to members of the university (§ 26 Abs. 2 of the Doctoral Regulations 2005 [Promotionsordnung], § 22 Abs. 2 of the Doctoral Regulations 2006, and § 20 Abs. 6 of the Doctoral Regulations 2009, 2011, and 2013, respectively). Members of the university who wish to attend a disputation as a guest are asked to contact the chair of the examination committee to arrange their attendance.
